Sarah and Graham at the Holiday Inn J6 Walsall.

Sunday, May 5th, 2013

What a fantastic day we have had with Sarah Denham and Graham Delaney or as we know them now Mr and Mrs Delaney!!! Sarah looked stunning in a gown that suited her to perfection. The sun shone down as we photographed the happy couple and stayed lovely for the rest of the day! To end the day just right we planted lanterns and tea lights all round the new gazebo in the garden when it went dark! It was so romantic! Much love to you both! Xxxx

P.S. many thanks to the staff of the Holiday Inn j10 Walsall for all the help they gave us on Saturday.

Tim and Rebecca’s Wedding at The Manor Hotel, Meriden

Saturday, September 8th, 2012

The last time we photographed at St Phillips Church in Dorridge, it was December 31st and the weather was much colder! For the wedding of Tim and Rebecca however, the weather was warm and sunny and much brighter. Rebecca looked lovely in her wedding dress and if a little nervous, it didnt show. Tim was perhaps not quite as calm as his Bride but when he saw her, I think his nerves must melted away! After a lovely ceremony, the Happy Couple made their way in vintage car to the Manor Hotel, Meriden where they were met with welcome drinks and broad smiles! As is the way of weddings, the day seemed to rush by in a blink of an eye and before they knew it the day was almost at a close, but it was day full of happy memories so no one minded! We are delighted you asked us to be your Wedding Photographers and wish you all the very, very best in the future Tim and Rebecca!

I love my work and trying to ensure that we look after a couple on their Big Day when it comes to photographs and giving them lots of support is a pleasure. The Marriage of Claire and David at Sandon Hall, Stone

Sunday, August 5th, 2012

Sandon Hall was the beautiful and unique setting for the wedding of Claire and David on 30th July. After marrying in the lovely small estate church, the happy couple drove off in an Austin Healey Sprite to the Hall itself. Full of antiquities and rare objects, the wedding breakfast took place in the reception hall. Huge sash windows looking out onto the estate, a huge wooden staircase and old paintings reminded us of Downton Abbey as we photographed the decor of the room. The grounds were extensive and beautiful. It’s hard to imagine a more perfect setting for a wedding. Not sure that all of the ancestors looking down from the walls would have approved of the dancing and merriment but they missed out on a great wedding to be sure! Have a lovely honeymoon, we know you will love the photos when you get back – we do! Dxxx

Alison and Simon

Sunday, March 11th, 2012

When you go to photograph a wedding you expect to see some nervous anticipation from the groom but Simon was calm personified! His wedding to Alison at the Arden Hotel was full of laughter but if there were some butterflies, they were not on show. When Alison entered the room, Simon beamed from ear to ear as did the rest of their family and friends as she looked every inch the beautiful Bride. Simon’s Sister Karren had done a splendid job for them with the flowers as the colourful blooms really were eye-catching. The Arden Hotel, played perfect host to the happy couple and their guests and nothing was too much trouble! When we took them outside for a romantic candlelit shot, it really did feel quite magical! Priory Photography were very proud to be asked to be a part of this lovely couple’s special day and we wish them a long and happy life together as husband and wife!

Debby and Wayne

Tuesday, January 3rd, 2012

After the December of 2010, nobody knew just what to expect from New Year’s Eve 2011! For Debby and Wayne it was their Wedding Day and nothing was going to spoil it! It was a little cold but nothing compared to the previous year, so even though the bride came fully prepared with comfy white snow boots and white fur cape to match her stunning white wedding dress – it wasn’t too bad. Wayne was full of anticipation rather than nerves and even though his Best Men and Ushers kept him both amused and distracted, it was well worth it when Debby (after forgetting her bouquet) arrived. Wayne’s proud, beaming face said it all!! From the wedding ceremony at the Church, and on to the reception at Chesford Grange, Kenilworth! The Happy Couple had arranged a surprise for their guests by way of their arrival at the reception – real reindeer pulling a sleigh! Entrances just don’t come much better than that!

With the theme of winter in mind Debby had worked hard on the decor and details of the Reception room so that it looked breathtaking. The theme of white, ice blue and silver was reflected in the lighting, table centre pieces and lots of details such as the bauble place settings and white dove decorations. Wow!! If the fact that it was Debby and Wayne’s wedding wasn’t enough to encourage guests to enjoy themselves the “Buckaroo Reindeer” and “Photobooth” certainly were! When the clock struck midnight, party streamers, confetti and shout’s of “Happy New Year!” marked the beginning of this lovely couple’s first year as Husband and Wife. Priory Photography and Design were both delighted and honored to have been asked to capture Debby and Wayne’s wedding day for them and wish them both a long and very happy life together as Mr and Mrs Croft!

Amy and Spencers Wedding at the Castle Hotel, Tamworth

Monday, October 3rd, 2011

When Amy and Spencer came to visit us earlier in the year we fully expected their wedding to take place on a brisk, fresh Autumnal day and not during a heatwave in October! Sunday 2nd October 2011 may well be the day that many remember as being hotter than most of our Summer days but for Spencer and Amy it was the day that they were married at the Castle Hotel, Tamworth. Everything about the day was beautiful from our lovely Bride Amy to the smile on Spencer’s face when he saw her as you can see captured in our photograph below. I could write reams about what a wonderful day it was but that photograph says it all and so much more! We would like to wish Spencer and Amy only the very best that life has to offer them as they deserve only the very best!

What do our clients think of us!

Tuesday, September 27th, 2011

“We could not have been more pleased that we chose Debbie and Mark to photograph our wedding. We looked at a lot of photographers but when we met Debbie at a wedding fare, we knew that we were going to go with Priory Photography. It’s a big decision to make, asking a stranger to take such personal pictures of you and your family and friends, on the most important day of your life! But Debbie and Mark made it easy for us. It was very important that we both felt comfortable and calm on our big day. They listened to everything we said and really cared about us having wonderful day, as well as taking the best pictures to remember our wedding. They really could not do enough for us, to make sure we were happy with all the shots they took. We had all the pictures we wanted and more. It was also lovely for us to go and have some private pictures taken together, just the two of us, and Debbie and Mark came up with some beautiful ideas for romantic photographs. Many of our guests also commented on how lovely and accommodating they both were, which was great as you want all your guests to enjoy the day as much as you do. It was absolutely the most perfect and best day of our lives and we have to thank Debbie and Mark for being there to photograph every wonderful memory. They are images, that hopefully one day, we can share with our children and grandchildren. We will look back and treasure them for the rest of our lives! Love Donna and Paul”. xx’

“Just wanted to say how perfect you have been for our wedding. From the moment we first approached you, you have been nothing professional, friendly and keen to help us get the perfect wedding shots.
Both you and Mark are amazing photographers as well as wonderful people – it was more like having close friends at the wedding than photographers.
Thank you for everything, you were perfect!”
Dan and Tania, Lincoln Cathedral, August 20th.

“Mark and Debbie helped to make our day so much more special with their friendly and professional service. We both hate having our photos taken but after speaking on the phone & then meeting them both in person we knew we’d be in safe hands. On the day, nothing was too much trouble & it was so relaxing & informal that we forgot they were there. When we saw the finished product we were so astounded at the quality & the vast selection of photos available to us that still 6 months on picking the wedding photos for the album is still on our to do list!!! We would recommend them to anyone without hesitation”.
Jackie and Ben Delves, Chester

“I would recommend Priory Photography to anyone. The team are very personalised and listen to your needs. Nothing is too much trouble and more importantly the photographs are AMAZING!”
Mr & Mrs Thompson, Burton on Trent

“We choose Debbie & Mark because their photographs were beautiful but also because we liked them! I put off choosing a photographer because I thought they were all the same – scary! Debbie and Mark weren’t like that though from the moment we met they. On the day, they worked longer than I thought they would, taking our photographs from about 12 noon till 10pm. They took loads of pictures and helped us to design our album after. We were really, really pleased with our lovely wedding album. Many thanks”

Sam and Matt

Friday, September 23rd, 2011

Weddings are always a wonderful occasion and although stressful they are always worth the stress and time put into them. This was especially so for Matt and Sam when they married at Tamworth Registry Office. After arriving in a limousine with her Bridesmaids and Pageboys, Sam never looked lovelier. Matt knew he was a lucky man and his smile said it all when he first saw her as she walked down the aisle to meet him. With vows exchanged and the realisation that they were husband, all nerves disappeared. Following photographs in the grounds of Tamworth Castle, the Happy Couple were at last given the chance to spend time together alone as our photographs reflect.

The Progressive Club played perfect host to their Wedding Breakfast and Reception and was magically transformed to complement the Wedding Colours. The Wedding Cake had been saved as a surprise for Sam as she had been told that she would be unable to have her dream cake, yet when the time came there it was! We were honoured to photograph Sam and Matt’s Wedding and be a part of their special day and wish them all the happiness in the world as they sail through life as Husband and Wife.

Tania and Dan

Monday, August 22nd, 2011

Dan himself used the word in his speech to sum up his wedding day “perfect”! Indeed the wedding of Dan and Tania at Lincoln Cathedral couldn’t be described in any other way. Both the bride Tania and the groom Dan were both quite relaxed when we saw them for Bride prep and Groom prep shots at the White Hart Inn. Although the time just flew past Tania made it to the church on time which surprised Dan a great deal! Anyone visiting the Cathedral that day was rewarded with the wonderful voices of the Cathedral Choir during the service as they resounded through the magnificent Nave.

Following the ceremony the Happy Couple posed for photographs before making their way by Rolls Royce to the setting of Hemswell Court for a relaxed Wedding Breakfast. Such was the joyfulness of their guests that the receiving line took a little longer than expected but no one was really too bothered as the staff at Hemswell Court were the perfect hosts and made everything run smoothly and with great bonhomie! Priory Photography & Design were truly honoured to be asked to capture the memories of Dan and Tania and hope that their married life together is blessed with love, luck and much happiness!!

“Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you. That doesn’t quite go far enough either. You were amazing, and the day wouldn’t have been as good if we’d used anyone else”.

Kaye and Gareth

Wednesday, August 3rd, 2011

Tamworth Castle was the wonderful setting for the wedding of Kaye and Gareth as surrounded by their family and friends they tied the knot! Arriving in a classic Bentley, Kaye looked stunning in her beautiful wedding gown as she walked down the aisle to meet Gareth. A delicious wedding breakfast at the Castle Hotel followed as guests sat at tables named after Gareths second passion in life – Rugby! During the reception on the evening I wondered where everyone was going to fit in as there were so many people wanting to wish Kaye and Gareth congratulations! Priory Photography & Design were delighted to be asked to photograph this lovely couple’s wedding and wish them a long and happy life together as Mr and Mrs Findon!

Some Recent Client Comments

Tuesday, July 19th, 2011

Below are a few comments from some of our recent happy customers.

“We have had experience of several professional photographers e.g. when we got married, and when our children were newborns etc, and each of them has been a little disappointing in some way especially given the cost of their services(!)……we were so pleased to find Mark and Debbie at Priory photography as they made the whole process a pleasure. We have now used their services twice. We first had our childrens’ photographs taken in April 2010 and were very impressed at how patient Mark was with a 5 year old, 4 year old and a 5 month old baby!! The photos were so good we could have cried. We were so chuffed we went back again a few months later when our daughter was a little bigger so we could have shots of her sitting up etc. Again the photos were amazing. We have 3 gigantic canvases hanging up in our house – individual pics of each child – and everybody comments on how fantastic they are. What was really good about Mark (and Debbie) is that it felt like they are giving a really personal service – they are totally flexible with the format of the photos and were not trying to ‘rip us off’. They weren’t pushy at all. When taking the pics Mark accommodated several costume changes for my little girl and took on board loads of our ideas as to how we wanted them posed etc etc – he really gave us exactly what we wanted and wasn’t on some ego trip like some photographers who think they know best and you end up getting pics that you are not 100% happy with. Everything about them was great. We now live in Germany and if we were still based in Tamworth I would be tempted to take the kids every few months for some updated shots(!) – next time we are back in the UK for a prolonged visit we will definitely be catching up with Mark and Debbie again and having some more pics taken.”
Mr & Mrs Thomas, Dusseldorf, Germany

“I would recommend Priory Photography to anyone. The team are very personalised and listen to your needs. Nothing is too much trouble and more importantly the photographs are AMAZING!”
Mr & Mrs Thompson, Burton on Trent

“We found Priory Photography through our wedding brochure and the internet, we met with Debbie and Mark who instantly put us at ease. They are professional, yet warm and friendly!” The photos taken on our wedding day were great, with both of them capturing different moments from our special day! The photos were displayed on the internet very quickly and draft album completed just as soon! All we can say is that the service provided was fantastic, the photos and album are beautiful and we would have no hesitation in recommending Priory Photography for your special day.”
Mr and Mrs Mills, Birmingham

“After having contacted and visited over ten photographers, we met with Debbie & Mark of Priory Photography & Design – Michelle and I instantly knew that we wanted them as our wedding photographers. As a couple they are so at ease with each other, and this translates into their working relationship as photographers. It is partly for this reason we chose them. Debbie and Mark put us at ease immediately and gave us the confidence that was lacking from all other photographers. What we also particularly liked about them is that they do not simply do wedding photography, but commercial, PR, and portraits. This means they have a wealth of experience to call upon. And we saw evidence of this in all our photographs. We could go on and on about just how wonderful they are, both as people and as professionals; suffice to say Michelle and I felt we made the perfect decision in choosing them – we have recommended them to a lot of friends and family. Don’t hesitate to choose Priory Photgraphy & Design as your photographers for any type of event – we promise it will be the best decision you make! All that is left to say is: “Thank you, Debbie & Mark, for helping to make our day so special and wonderful!”

Tarnya and Martin

Monday, July 18th, 2011

Weddings bring out all manner of emotions from laughter to tears and there were plenty of both at Martin and Tarnya’s wedding on July 16th! Our day started at The Works Hairdressers in Atherstone where Anthony and his team transformed the Bride and her 8 Bridesmaids for the day. Tarnya cried a little when she saw how lovely her daughters looked but no one could outshine this Bride as true happiness has a look of its very own!! After travelling by vintage wedding car to All Saints Church, Grendon, she walked down the aisle to meet her slightly nervous groom! It was at this point that the sun came out for the first time that day as if by magic – following a really soggy morning. Though a light shower interrupted photography at All Saints Church, it continued at Drayton Manor where the Happy Couple were holding their reception. We managed to capture some lovely memories of them with their family and friends as you can see! Priory Photography & Design were honoured to be asked to photograph this lovely Couple’s special day and wish them all the happiness in the world as they start out in life together as Mr and Mrs!
