The last time we photographed at St Phillips Church in Dorridge, it was December 31st and the weather was much colder! For the wedding of Tim and Rebecca however, the weather was warm and sunny and much brighter. Rebecca looked lovely in her wedding dress and if a little nervous, it didnt show. Tim was perhaps not quite as calm as his Bride but when he saw her, I think his nerves must melted away! After a lovely ceremony, the Happy Couple made their way in vintage car to the Manor Hotel, Meriden where they were met with welcome drinks and broad smiles! As is the way of weddings, the day seemed to rush by in a blink of an eye and before they knew it the day was almost at a close, but it was day full of happy memories so no one minded! We are delighted you asked us to be your Wedding Photographers and wish you all the very, very best in the future Tim and Rebecca!

When we first met Gina and Richard, their car broke down so we never got to actually sit down and discuss anything! The preshoot a year later went a little better thankfully and so when we finally got to the wedding day we were raring to go! Opposite the Stockland Green Methodist Church in Birmingham was a pub. As the Best Man Steve was definitely in the mood to celebrate – he nipped over to the pub for a bit of Dutch courage before the ceremony! Richard didnt need to though as he had waited a while for this day and was enjoying every moment! Gina looked so beautiful as Richard’s smile acknowledged! Following the ceremony, Richard and Gina travelled to the Castle Hotel, Tamworth where everyone enjoyed a celebratory drink before stepping out for photographs. At the foot of the historic Castle, the Happy Couple and their guests stopped for photographs amidst the flowers and sunshine, it was a lovely sight! As the day passed, Gina and Richard celebrated their wedding with family and guests in the Tudor Suite of the Castle Hotel, until before you knew it – it was the First Dance! We were very happy to be asked to photograph your Wedding Day Richard and Gina and wish you all the very best as Husband and Wife, now and in the future!

If the Queen couldn’t have good weather on her Jubilee Sunday then unfortunately the rest of us couldn’t have it either! Despite the rain though, Becci and Aaron’s wedding at the Millers Hotel was lovely! We couldnt give them the outdoor shots that we had planned with them during their preshoot but with a bit of imagination and creativity we were able to take some lovely shots inside of them. When working with someone as lovely as Becci and as happy as Aron though how could we fail! Much love and happiness to you both! Dxxx

When you go to photograph a wedding you expect to see some nervous anticipation from the groom but Simon was calm personified! His wedding to Alison at the Arden Hotel was full of laughter but if there were some butterflies, they were not on show. When Alison entered the room, Simon beamed from ear to ear as did the rest of their family and friends as she looked every inch the beautiful Bride. Simon’s Sister Karren had done a splendid job for them with the flowers as the colourful blooms really were eye-catching. The Arden Hotel, played perfect host to the happy couple and their guests and nothing was too much trouble! When we took them outside for a romantic candlelit shot, it really did feel quite magical! Priory Photography were very proud to be asked to be a part of this lovely couple’s special day and we wish them a long and happy life together as husband and wife!

After the December of 2010, nobody knew just what to expect from New Year’s Eve 2011! For Debby and Wayne it was their Wedding Day and nothing was going to spoil it! It was a little cold but nothing compared to the previous year, so even though the bride came fully prepared with comfy white snow boots and white fur cape to match her stunning white wedding dress – it wasn’t too bad. Wayne was full of anticipation rather than nerves and even though his Best Men and Ushers kept him both amused and distracted, it was well worth it when Debby (after forgetting her bouquet) arrived. Wayne’s proud, beaming face said it all!! From the wedding ceremony at the Church, and on to the reception at Chesford Grange, Kenilworth! The Happy Couple had arranged a surprise for their guests by way of their arrival at the reception – real reindeer pulling a sleigh! Entrances just don’t come much better than that!
With the theme of winter in mind Debby had worked hard on the decor and details of the Reception room so that it looked breathtaking. The theme of white, ice blue and silver was reflected in the lighting, table centre pieces and lots of details such as the bauble place settings and white dove decorations. Wow!! If the fact that it was Debby and Wayne’s wedding wasn’t enough to encourage guests to enjoy themselves the “Buckaroo Reindeer” and “Photobooth” certainly were! When the clock struck midnight, party streamers, confetti and shout’s of “Happy New Year!” marked the beginning of this lovely couple’s first year as Husband and Wife. Priory Photography and Design were both delighted and honored to have been asked to capture Debby and Wayne’s wedding day for them and wish them both a long and very happy life together as Mr and Mrs Croft!

The weather may have been cold at Nuthurst Grange, but the love and laughter surrounding Ellen and Lee at their wedding, from family and friends was lovely and warm! Following the most relaxed and laughter filled bridal prep I ever had the pleasure to photograph, Ellen made her way with her Bridesmaids to the little chapel within the grounds. Though no one wanted to be outside for long, their family and friends were cheerful as they waited for photographs and made the whole chilly experience fun! With Christmas trees and lights all round, even Father Christmas couldnt stay away and made a surprise visit to wish the couple well and give out early presents to the good little boys and girls who were there. A magical wedding for a truly lovely couple! Thank you for letting us capture your memories and be a part of your special day, it was a true pleasure!!! Debbie & Mark xxx

When Amy and Spencer came to visit us earlier in the year we fully expected their wedding to take place on a brisk, fresh Autumnal day and not during a heatwave in October! Sunday 2nd October 2011 may well be the day that many remember as being hotter than most of our Summer days but for Spencer and Amy it was the day that they were married at the Castle Hotel, Tamworth. Everything about the day was beautiful from our lovely Bride Amy to the smile on Spencer’s face when he saw her as you can see captured in our photograph below. I could write reams about what a wonderful day it was but that photograph says it all and so much more! We would like to wish Spencer and Amy only the very best that life has to offer them as they deserve only the very best!

“We could not have been more pleased that we chose Debbie and Mark to photograph our wedding. We looked at a lot of photographers but when we met Debbie at a wedding fare, we knew that we were going to go with Priory Photography. It’s a big decision to make, asking a stranger to take such personal pictures of you and your family and friends, on the most important day of your life! But Debbie and Mark made it easy for us. It was very important that we both felt comfortable and calm on our big day. They listened to everything we said and really cared about us having wonderful day, as well as taking the best pictures to remember our wedding. They really could not do enough for us, to make sure we were happy with all the shots they took. We had all the pictures we wanted and more. It was also lovely for us to go and have some private pictures taken together, just the two of us, and Debbie and Mark came up with some beautiful ideas for romantic photographs. Many of our guests also commented on how lovely and accommodating they both were, which was great as you want all your guests to enjoy the day as much as you do. It was absolutely the most perfect and best day of our lives and we have to thank Debbie and Mark for being there to photograph every wonderful memory. They are images, that hopefully one day, we can share with our children and grandchildren. We will look back and treasure them for the rest of our lives! Love Donna and Paul”. xx’

“Just wanted to say how perfect you have been for our wedding. From the moment we first approached you, you have been nothing professional, friendly and keen to help us get the perfect wedding shots.
Both you and Mark are amazing photographers as well as wonderful people – it was more like having close friends at the wedding than photographers.
Thank you for everything, you were perfect!”
Dan and Tania, Lincoln Cathedral, August 20th.
“Mark and Debbie helped to make our day so much more special with their friendly and professional service. We both hate having our photos taken but after speaking on the phone & then meeting them both in person we knew we’d be in safe hands. On the day, nothing was too much trouble & it was so relaxing & informal that we forgot they were there. When we saw the finished product we were so astounded at the quality & the vast selection of photos available to us that still 6 months on picking the wedding photos for the album is still on our to do list!!! We would recommend them to anyone without hesitation”.
Jackie and Ben Delves, Chester
“I would recommend Priory Photography to anyone. The team are very personalised and listen to your needs. Nothing is too much trouble and more importantly the photographs are AMAZING!”
Mr & Mrs Thompson, Burton on Trent
“We choose Debbie & Mark because their photographs were beautiful but also because we liked them! I put off choosing a photographer because I thought they were all the same – scary! Debbie and Mark weren’t like that though from the moment we met they. On the day, they worked longer than I thought they would, taking our photographs from about 12 noon till 10pm. They took loads of pictures and helped us to design our album after. We were really, really pleased with our lovely wedding album. Many thanks”

The wedding of Joanne and Gary was a wonderful and rare mix of the old and we were delighted to be their Wedding Photographers. Joanne looked truly beautiful as she and her Father arrived at Aston Villa Football Ground in classic vintage Rolls royce. Though Gary had to wait a little while for her to make her way down the aisle to him, she was well worth waiting for. With the Holte End as a backdrop, the Happy Couple made their vows to each other and became Husband and Wife. As an avid supporter of Aston Villa Football Club, our Groom Gary was delighted that his Bride Joanne was happy to hold their wedding ceremony at the grounds. Both however were more than happy to travel in the September sunshine over to adjacent Aston hall for their wedding photographs with family and friends. Aston Villa played perfect host for the entire day and made a magnificent backdrop to the photographs taken there as our photographs show. The Evening Reception was an extremely enjoyable occasion for all as male and female guests battled to win the competition for best Air Guitar Player amongst other tasks!!! A truly wonderful day for the Bride and Groom, for whom we wish a lifetime of happiness and laughter together!

Simply lovely! It summed up the wedding day of Lindsay and Lee perfectly! There are always some nerves at weddings but by the time Lindsay arrived with her Bridesmaids at St Wilfrid’s Church, Bromford, it was perhaps more excitement and anticipation! Father George soon put everyone at ease though and with the support of Father of the Bride Colin, there was soon a smile on everyone’s face. This set the tone for the celebrations as the Happy Couple and their Wedding Party made their way to Marston Farm Hotel for their Wedding Breakfast and Reception. Our Bride Lindsay had gone to a great deal of trouble to ensure that the room was full of special details such as the photograph napkin ring holders and it was not in vain for the photographs made everyone smile and gasp in astonishment!! “where was that taken? how did she get hold of that photograph?” were questions that could be heard all round the room! August 27th was not only Lindsay and Lee’s special day though it was a special day also for their daughter Lillie who was celebrating her birthday that very day! As family and friends sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to her you couldn’t help but smile at the little girl’s face as she beamed from ear to ear! We were delighted to be asked to capture the memories of Lindsay and Lee on their wedding day and wish this lovely couple all the happiness in the world as they set out in life together as Husband and Wife!! Photographs to follow very shortly!!!
Weddings bring out all manner of emotions from laughter to tears and there were plenty of both at Martin and Tarnya’s wedding on July 16th! Our day started at The Works Hairdressers in Atherstone where Anthony and his team transformed the Bride and her 8 Bridesmaids for the day. Tarnya cried a little when she saw how lovely her daughters looked but no one could outshine this Bride as true happiness has a look of its very own!! After travelling by vintage wedding car to All Saints Church, Grendon, she walked down the aisle to meet her slightly nervous groom! It was at this point that the sun came out for the first time that day as if by magic – following a really soggy morning. Though a light shower interrupted photography at All Saints Church, it continued at Drayton Manor where the Happy Couple were holding their reception. We managed to capture some lovely memories of them with their family and friends as you can see! Priory Photography & Design were honoured to be asked to photograph this lovely Couple’s special day and wish them all the happiness in the world as they start out in life together as Mr and Mrs!

Branston Golf and Country Club played perfect host to the wedding of Nicola and Mark on 17th June, as surrounded by family and friends the happy couple tied the knot! Rain is meant to be lucky on your wedding day and so the showers didnt concern anyone. Our couple had great fun on the golf buggy as they toured the course and we wont say anything about Women Drivers! Priory Photography and Design were delighted to be asked to capture this very special day and wish this special couple a very happy life together as Husband and Wife!

July 2nd 2011 will be the day that Kelly and Steve remember as their wedding day but will be a day that Priory Photography & Design remember for a lovely couple, fantastic music, laughs aplenty and fun with a capital F! Following a lovely wedding ceremony at Tamworth Castle, Kelly and Steve celebrated their wedding reception at the Castle Hotel, Tamworth. As you can see from our photographs laughter was the order of the day! Surrounded by family and friends joining in, the happy couple danced the night away to Mod and Northern Soul music from a live band Pritty Green! Priory Photography & Design wish this fab couple all the love and happiness in the world as Husband and Wife!

The Manor Hotel at Meriden, Warwickshire, played the perfect host to the wedding of Kerry and Paul Timbrell on Saturday 18th June as they made their vows in front of family and friends. Though a heavy downpour momentarily stopped the photography we were then blessed with sunshine and were able to carry on! As they say – the show must go on and indeed it did as the happy couple celebrated their wedding with speeches, laughter and merriment aplenty! Flowergirl Sophie nearly – but not quite – stole the show, but the happiness of her Mum Kerry shone through for all to see as she made the perfect bride in a beautiful wedding gown that looked as if it was made especially for her and her alone! We were delighted to be asked to capture their special memories and share in their special day and wish the Happy Couple a long and happy married life together!!!

Lea Marston was the setting for the wedding of Becky and Dave on Friday 27th May! This was a lovely relaxed wedding where everyone enjoyed themselves. Instead of a formal wedding breakfast, a mouthwatering array of sandwiches and cakes were served for high tea which went down very well! It was the children though who stole the show and hearts of everyone through both the wedding ceremony and the rest of the day as they definitely wanted to play their part! What a great day!

Beautiful weather, a couple very much in love surrounding by a loving family and friends in a fab setting!! What more could you ask for? Absolutely nothing! Though only April, the sun shone bright on Tamworth Castle as Tom and Lindsay made their vows to each other before saying Home James and making their way in a vintage car to Moxhull Hall (near Sutton Coldfield) Warwickshire, for their Wedding Breakfast and Reception! The Bridesmaids and Pageboy Daniel arrived before them in their Limo and were there waiting for them as they drove down an avenue of daffodils! Everything was perfect from start to finish as Moxhull Hall played perfect host and ensured that our couple were made to feel as special as they undoubtedly are! Priory Photography and Design were honored to be asked to capture the laughter and tears that were plentiful on this beautiful occasion and wish Tom and Lindsay a wonderful future together as Husband and Wife!
