Lisa and Steve

Tuesday, September 13th, 2011

They say timing is everything and it was definitely true for Lisa and Steve’s Wedding!!! Lisa looked a picture of loveliness as she arrived at All Saints Church, Foley accompanied by her Bridesmaids in beautiful purple. Steve was a little nervous but it was more excitement and anticipation than nerves. After a beautiful wedding ceremony, the Happy Couple made their way in vintage Rolls Royce to the Botanical Gardens in Edgbaston, Birmingham for their Wedding Breakfast and reception. It was hard to say who wore the biggest smile Lisa or Steve but it was certainly infectious as everyone around them wanted to wish them well! The Botanical Gardens were a beautiful setting for their reception and even the sun came out for them. Our aim was to give them time to enjoy their day and share their happiness with their family and friends rather than be overwhelmed by photography. In this we were successful as we achieved all of their desired photographs as well as their creative shots and got them back in time for their Wedding Breakfast. During the Wedding Breakfast the heavens opened and torrential rain came down. How glad was I that we had photographed everything that we needed to outside!! We would like to wish Steve and Lisa a wonderful life together as Husband and Wife and are very proud to have been their Wedding Photographers!

Lindsay and Lee

Sunday, August 28th, 2011

Simply lovely! It summed up the wedding day of Lindsay and Lee perfectly! There are always some nerves at weddings but by the time Lindsay arrived with her Bridesmaids at St Wilfrid’s Church, Bromford, it was perhaps more excitement and anticipation! Father George soon put everyone at ease though and with the support of Father of the Bride Colin, there was soon a smile on everyone’s face. This set the tone for the celebrations as the Happy Couple and their Wedding Party made their way to Marston Farm Hotel for their Wedding Breakfast and Reception. Our Bride Lindsay had gone to a great deal of trouble to ensure that the room was full of special details such as the photograph napkin ring holders and it was not in vain for the photographs made everyone smile and gasp in astonishment!! “where was that taken? how did she get hold of that photograph?” were questions that could be heard all round the room! August 27th was not only Lindsay and Lee’s special day though it was a special day also for their daughter Lillie who was celebrating her birthday that very day! As family and friends sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to her you couldn’t help but smile at the little girl’s face as she beamed from ear to ear! We were delighted to be asked to capture the memories of Lindsay and Lee on their wedding day and wish this lovely couple all the happiness in the world as they set out in life together as Husband and Wife!! Photographs to follow very shortly!!!

Tara and Paul

Sunday, August 14th, 2011

How can I sum up in one word the wedding of Paul and Tara? I will use the word that was said to us at the end of the night – “awesome”! Actually one word doesnt do it justice as the day encompassed a wide range of emotions. When Paul arrived at St George’s church, Tamworth he was fashionably late but judging by the screech of tyres you would have thought it was much later! Paul was both nervous and excited at the same time whilst his Best Man Matt was just plain nervous! Arriving in a classic white Berkeley, Tara was a lovely vision in white and well worth waiting for. Their little daughter Chloe was not impressed however and fell asleep during the service. Following the ceremony, the guests were delighted to see the Bride and Groom decked in fluorescent coloured sunglasses dance their way out of the church! They were followed by the Bridal Party all wearing sunglasses and showing off their moves! You had to be there! The happy couple held their wedding breakfast and evening reception at the Castle Hotel with family and friends. Priory Photography & Design were honoured to be asked to be their Wedding Photographers and wish this lovely couple all the love and luck in the world as they embark on married life together!

Kaye and Gareth

Tamworth Castle was the wonderful setting for the wedding of Kaye and Gareth as surrounded by their family and friends they tied the knot! Arriving in a classic Bentley, Kaye looked stunning in her beautiful wedding gown as she walked down the aisle to meet Gareth. A delicious wedding breakfast at the Castle Hotel followed as guests sat at tables named after Gareths second passion in life – Rugby! During the reception on the evening I wondered where everyone was going to fit in as there were so many people wanting to wish Kaye and Gareth congratulations! Priory Photography & Design were delighted to be asked to photograph this lovely couple’s wedding and wish them a long and happy life together as Mr and Mrs Findon!

Tarnya and Martin

Monday, July 18th, 2011

Weddings bring out all manner of emotions from laughter to tears and there were plenty of both at Martin and Tarnya’s wedding on July 16th! Our day started at The Works Hairdressers in Atherstone where Anthony and his team transformed the Bride and her 8 Bridesmaids for the day. Tarnya cried a little when she saw how lovely her daughters looked but no one could outshine this Bride as true happiness has a look of its very own!! After travelling by vintage wedding car to All Saints Church, Grendon, she walked down the aisle to meet her slightly nervous groom! It was at this point that the sun came out for the first time that day as if by magic – following a really soggy morning. Though a light shower interrupted photography at All Saints Church, it continued at Drayton Manor where the Happy Couple were holding their reception. We managed to capture some lovely memories of them with their family and friends as you can see! Priory Photography & Design were honoured to be asked to photograph this lovely Couple’s special day and wish them all the happiness in the world as they start out in life together as Mr and Mrs!

Following a beautiful service at St Mary’s Church, Newton Regis, Joanne and Matthew made their way in style in a vintage 1933 Classic Rolls Royce to Drayton Manor for their reception. As the weather was warm it was lovely to accompany them on a golf buggy through the park to the Carousel where they had lots of fun as you can see! Fun was the order of the day as they visited Thomas the Tank Engine at Thomasland and had their photograph taken with him! What a great day! Priory Photography & Design were delighted to be asked to photograph their special day! We wish Joanne and Matthew a long and happy married life together!

Beautiful weather, a couple very much in love surrounding by a loving family and friends in a fab setting!! What more could you ask for? Absolutely nothing! Though only April, the sun shone bright on Tamworth Castle as Tom and Lindsay made their vows to each other before saying Home James and making their way in a vintage car to Moxhull Hall (near Sutton Coldfield) Warwickshire, for their Wedding Breakfast and Reception! The Bridesmaids and Pageboy Daniel arrived before them in their Limo and were there waiting for them as they drove down an avenue of daffodils! Everything was perfect from start to finish as Moxhull Hall played perfect host and ensured that our couple were made to feel as special as they undoubtedly are! Priory Photography and Design were honored to be asked to capture the laughter and tears that were plentiful on this beautiful occasion and wish Tom and Lindsay a wonderful future together as Husband and Wife!
