Sunday, May 5th, 2013What a fantastic day we have had with Sarah Denham and Graham Delaney or as we know them now Mr and Mrs Delaney!!! Sarah looked stunning in a gown that suited her to perfection. The sun shone down as we photographed the happy couple and stayed lovely for the rest of the day! To end the day just right we planted lanterns and tea lights all round the new gazebo in the garden when it went dark! It was so romantic! Much love to you both! Xxxx

Kelly and Ross at St Chads, Hopwas
Monday, April 8th, 2013We had a great afternoon on Saturday doing a wedding pre-shoot with Kelly and Ross. The couple are getting married at the beautiful St.Chad’s Church at Hopwas, followed by a reception at the new hotel at Drayton Manor theme park. We always meet up with couples about a month before the wedding day to finalise the plans for the big day and of course take a few photographs of them as well.

Tuesday, March 26th, 2013It’s been a really fab weekend! Yesterday we were at the wedding of Benjamin Foster and Sarah Foster, which was magical from beginning to end! A beautiful snowy white day which provided lots of laughter, anxiety, and tears especially when Ben lost his wedding ring in the snow! A moment that will stay with him forever! Alls well that ends well though! — at Brook Marston Farm Hotel.
Shawn and Sophie’s wedding at Barton Marina
Sunday, August 26th, 2012The weather forecast was for rain from 1pm onwards, the clouds were black and we even heard thunder! Yet magically the rain stayed away for Shawn and Sophie’s wedding day! Sophie looked truly stunning in her wedding gown and though lovely to start with, the make up artistry of Sally Simpson had transformed her into the Bride we would all love to look like! Shawns face when he first saw her said it all.
The Waterfront at Barton Marina played perfect host to the Happy Couple and the Marina itself was a lovely backdrop to the celebrations! Best Man Ben gave a very funny speech and trying to focus on my work whilst laughing at the same time was not easy! All too soon, we approached the end of the evening. Thank you Sophie and Shawn for granting us the honour of being your wedding photographers, we thoroughly enjoyed capturing your memories and sharing your precious moments! Dx

Sarah and Rob
Thursday, June 21st, 2012When I arrived to undertake Bridal Prep at Alrewas Hayes for Sarah, I was met by a scene of organised happy chaos! You cannot expect less though when you have 6 Bridesmaids who are excited, happy and nervous all at the same time! If Sarah was feeling any butterflies at this point it didnt show. The ceremony was lovely and before we knew it we were outside in the hot sunshine! Though we took the large group photographs on the lawn of Alrewas Hayes, we soon moved everyone into the courtyard where there was more shade. The lakeside was important to both of the Happy Couple as it was where Rob had proposed so we had to photograph them there, it just had to be done! Before moving on to the Wedding Breakfast in the garden of Sarah’s parents, we were able to photograph them in a friend’s classic MG. There may not have been much room for Sarah’s dress but both she and Rob looked very much at home in the gorgeous car! We wish Sarah and Rob, all the happiness in the world as they set out into married life together!!

Collette and Chris at The Old School House, Weeford
Friday, June 8th, 2012After the heatwave of the previous week, it was definitely a little cooler for Collette & Chris’ wedding at St Mary’s C of E, Church Weeford. I always feel a little in awe of the Bride’s wedding dress as each is unique, wonderful and as individual as the Bride herself. Collette’s dress was no exception! Using natural light is more flattering but it is still hard to capture how beautiful each dress is. Collette was a picture of loveliness in her dress and I know it brought a tear to her Dad’s eye when he saw her. Chris was taking things in his stride. As a Firefighter, he is used to stressful situations but I think even he was a little overwhelmed when he first caught sight of his beautiful Bride! As tends to happen, the day went quickly in a whirl of colour and emotion. Before we knew it, the Happy Couple were dancing their first dance surrounding by the love and well wishes of their family and friends! I love weddings!! We wish you all the best that married life has to offer you both Chris and Collette!

The wedding of Jennie and Tom at Packington Moor
Thursday, April 19th, 2012Big smiles were the order of the day for Tom and Jennie’s wedding at Packington Moor! Even Millie their dog looked as if she were grinning from ear to ear! When it comes to describing Tom’s smile when he saw how breathtaking Jennie looked as she walked down the aisle though – well words fail me. She looked amazing! Following the ceremony, family and friends gathered in the lovely gardens of Packington Moor Farm for photographs and though it was becoming a little fresh at this time of the day no-one really minded. Packington Moor Staff were lovely and couldnt do enough to ensure that the day went smoothly. The only hitch if it can be called that, was when someone (who shall remain nameless) stepped on the Brides dress as she walked down the aisle! Everything was just perfect, a truly lovely day for the happy couple to remember forever. Priory Photography & Design were delighted and honoured to be asked to photograph this very special day for Jennie and Tom and wish them all the happiness in the world as they set out together as Husband and Wife! Debby and Wayne
Tuesday, January 3rd, 2012After the December of 2010, nobody knew just what to expect from New Year’s Eve 2011! For Debby and Wayne it was their Wedding Day and nothing was going to spoil it! It was a little cold but nothing compared to the previous year, so even though the bride came fully prepared with comfy white snow boots and white fur cape to match her stunning white wedding dress – it wasn’t too bad. Wayne was full of anticipation rather than nerves and even though his Best Men and Ushers kept him both amused and distracted, it was well worth it when Debby (after forgetting her bouquet) arrived. Wayne’s proud, beaming face said it all!! From the wedding ceremony at the Church, and on to the reception at Chesford Grange, Kenilworth! The Happy Couple had arranged a surprise for their guests by way of their arrival at the reception – real reindeer pulling a sleigh! Entrances just don’t come much better than that!
With the theme of winter in mind Debby had worked hard on the decor and details of the Reception room so that it looked breathtaking. The theme of white, ice blue and silver was reflected in the lighting, table centre pieces and lots of details such as the bauble place settings and white dove decorations. Wow!! If the fact that it was Debby and Wayne’s wedding wasn’t enough to encourage guests to enjoy themselves the “Buckaroo Reindeer” and “Photobooth” certainly were! When the clock struck midnight, party streamers, confetti and shout’s of “Happy New Year!” marked the beginning of this lovely couple’s first year as Husband and Wife. Priory Photography and Design were both delighted and honored to have been asked to capture Debby and Wayne’s wedding day for them and wish them both a long and very happy life together as Mr and Mrs Croft!

Laura and Matts Wedding at Hawksyard Hall, Rugeley
Tuesday, October 11th, 2011After the heatwave of last week, it was down to earth with a bump and back to normal temperatures when we photographed Matt and Laura’s wedding on Friday! The Autumn colours were beautiful though and made a lovely backdrop to the setting of Hawkesyard Hall as the Wedding Venue.
Laura looked amazing as she entered and there were a few teary eyes amongst family and friends. The red camper van complete with surfboard that Laura arrived in, looked fab as it drove the couple round to give them some time alone.
St Thomas’ Priory Golf Club played perfect host to the wedding breakfast and reception and looked after everyone so well! We would like to wish Matt and Laura a long and happy married life together and are proud to have been asked to photograph their very special day!!

Amy and Spencers Wedding at the Castle Hotel, Tamworth
Monday, October 3rd, 2011When Amy and Spencer came to visit us earlier in the year we fully expected their wedding to take place on a brisk, fresh Autumnal day and not during a heatwave in October! Sunday 2nd October 2011 may well be the day that many remember as being hotter than most of our Summer days but for Spencer and Amy it was the day that they were married at the Castle Hotel, Tamworth. Everything about the day was beautiful from our lovely Bride Amy to the smile on Spencer’s face when he saw her as you can see captured in our photograph below. I could write reams about what a wonderful day it was but that photograph says it all and so much more! We would like to wish Spencer and Amy only the very best that life has to offer them as they deserve only the very best!

Sam and Matt
Friday, September 23rd, 2011Weddings are always a wonderful occasion and although stressful they are always worth the stress and time put into them. This was especially so for Matt and Sam when they married at Tamworth Registry Office. After arriving in a limousine with her Bridesmaids and Pageboys, Sam never looked lovelier. Matt knew he was a lucky man and his smile said it all when he first saw her as she walked down the aisle to meet him. With vows exchanged and the realisation that they were husband, all nerves disappeared. Following photographs in the grounds of Tamworth Castle, the Happy Couple were at last given the chance to spend time together alone as our photographs reflect.
The Progressive Club played perfect host to their Wedding Breakfast and Reception and was magically transformed to complement the Wedding Colours. The Wedding Cake had been saved as a surprise for Sam as she had been told that she would be unable to have her dream cake, yet when the time came there it was! We were honoured to photograph Sam and Matt’s Wedding and be a part of their special day and wish them all the happiness in the world as they sail through life as Husband and Wife.

Lisa and Steve
Tuesday, September 13th, 2011They say timing is everything and it was definitely true for Lisa and Steve’s Wedding!!! Lisa looked a picture of loveliness as she arrived at All Saints Church, Foley accompanied by her Bridesmaids in beautiful purple. Steve was a little nervous but it was more excitement and anticipation than nerves. After a beautiful wedding ceremony, the Happy Couple made their way in vintage Rolls Royce to the Botanical Gardens in Edgbaston, Birmingham for their Wedding Breakfast and reception. It was hard to say who wore the biggest smile Lisa or Steve but it was certainly infectious as everyone around them wanted to wish them well! The Botanical Gardens were a beautiful setting for their reception and even the sun came out for them. Our aim was to give them time to enjoy their day and share their happiness with their family and friends rather than be overwhelmed by photography. In this we were successful as we achieved all of their desired photographs as well as their creative shots and got them back in time for their Wedding Breakfast. During the Wedding Breakfast the heavens opened and torrential rain came down. How glad was I that we had photographed everything that we needed to outside!! We would like to wish Steve and Lisa a wonderful life together as Husband and Wife and are very proud to have been their Wedding Photographers!

Joanne and Gary
Sunday, September 4th, 2011The wedding of Joanne and Gary was a wonderful and rare mix of the old and we were delighted to be their Wedding Photographers. Joanne looked truly beautiful as she and her Father arrived at Aston Villa Football Ground in classic vintage Rolls royce. Though Gary had to wait a little while for her to make her way down the aisle to him, she was well worth waiting for. With the Holte End as a backdrop, the Happy Couple made their vows to each other and became Husband and Wife. As an avid supporter of Aston Villa Football Club, our Groom Gary was delighted that his Bride Joanne was happy to hold their wedding ceremony at the grounds. Both however were more than happy to travel in the September sunshine over to adjacent Aston hall for their wedding photographs with family and friends. Aston Villa played perfect host for the entire day and made a magnificent backdrop to the photographs taken there as our photographs show. The Evening Reception was an extremely enjoyable occasion for all as male and female guests battled to win the competition for best Air Guitar Player amongst other tasks!!! A truly wonderful day for the Bride and Groom, for whom we wish a lifetime of happiness and laughter together!

Lindsay and Lee
Sunday, August 28th, 2011Simply lovely! It summed up the wedding day of Lindsay and Lee perfectly! There are always some nerves at weddings but by the time Lindsay arrived with her Bridesmaids at St Wilfrid’s Church, Bromford, it was perhaps more excitement and anticipation! Father George soon put everyone at ease though and with the support of Father of the Bride Colin, there was soon a smile on everyone’s face. This set the tone for the celebrations as the Happy Couple and their Wedding Party made their way to Marston Farm Hotel for their Wedding Breakfast and Reception. Our Bride Lindsay had gone to a great deal of trouble to ensure that the room was full of special details such as the photograph napkin ring holders and it was not in vain for the photographs made everyone smile and gasp in astonishment!! “where was that taken? how did she get hold of that photograph?” were questions that could be heard all round the room! August 27th was not only Lindsay and Lee’s special day though it was a special day also for their daughter Lillie who was celebrating her birthday that very day! As family and friends sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to her you couldn’t help but smile at the little girl’s face as she beamed from ear to ear! We were delighted to be asked to capture the memories of Lindsay and Lee on their wedding day and wish this lovely couple all the happiness in the world as they set out in life together as Husband and Wife!! Tania and Dan
Monday, August 22nd, 2011Dan himself used the word in his speech to sum up his wedding day “perfect”! Indeed the wedding of Dan and Tania at Lincoln Cathedral couldn’t be described in any other way. Both the bride Tania and the groom Dan were both quite relaxed when we saw them for Bride prep and Groom prep shots at the White Hart Inn. Although the time just flew past Tania made it to the church on time which surprised Dan a great deal! Anyone visiting the Cathedral that day was rewarded with the wonderful voices of the Cathedral Choir during the service as they resounded through the magnificent Nave.
Following the ceremony the Happy Couple posed for photographs before making their way by Rolls Royce to the setting of Hemswell Court for a relaxed Wedding Breakfast. Such was the joyfulness of their guests that the receiving line took a little longer than expected but no one was really too bothered as the staff at Hemswell Court were the perfect hosts and made everything run smoothly and with great bonhomie! Priory Photography & Design were truly honoured to be asked to capture the memories of Dan and Tania and hope that their married life together is blessed with love, luck and much happiness!!

Tara and Paul
Sunday, August 14th, 2011How can I sum up in one word the wedding of Paul and Tara? I will use the word that was said to us at the end of the night – “awesome”! Actually one word doesnt do it justice as the day encompassed a wide range of emotions. When Paul arrived at St George’s church, Tamworth he was fashionably late but judging by the screech of tyres you would have thought it was much later! Paul was both nervous and excited at the same time whilst his Best Man Matt was just plain nervous! Arriving in a classic white Berkeley, Tara was a lovely vision in white and well worth waiting for. Their little daughter Chloe was not impressed however and fell asleep during the service. Following the ceremony, the guests were delighted to see the Bride and Groom decked in fluorescent coloured sunglasses dance their way out of the church! They were followed by the Bridal Party all wearing sunglasses and showing off their moves! You had to be there! The happy couple held their wedding breakfast and evening reception at the Castle Hotel with family and friends. Priory Photography & Design were honoured to be asked to be their Wedding Photographers and wish this lovely couple all the love and luck in the world as they embark on married life together!
