Looking forward to photographing a wedding at Polesworth Abbey on Saturday. It’s just one of the many beautiful Churches around the Tamworth and North Warwickshire area.

We had a great afternoon on Saturday doing a wedding pre-shoot with Kelly and Ross. The couple are getting married at the beautiful St.Chad’s Church at Hopwas, followed by a reception at the new hotel at Drayton Manor theme park. We always meet up with couples about a month before the wedding day to finalise the plans for the big day and of course take a few photographs of them as well.

We just love the way the Marquee was decorated at the weekend for Sarah and Ben’s wedding. The staff at The Brook Marston Farm Hotel did the couple proud and the photographs looked fab with such a lovely backdrop.

The Wedding Marquee at The Brook Marston Farm Hotel set for a Wedding
You expect a Wedding Day to entail some stress or detail that doesn’t quite go to plan but occasionally you encounter a day that is perfect in every way! Emma and Tom’s wedding was just such an occasion! Two hours after arriving in the sleepy Oxfordshire village of Churchill, we were surrounded by uniformed officers of H.M. Armed Forces, namely the RAF, who were there in force to support Tom on his big day. Following lunch, Tom resplendent in his full dress uniform, made his way to All Saints Church accompanied by his Best Men Bobby and John and the groomsmen.
The sight of over 12 servicemen in full dress uniform, many with swords was a sight to behold. The Bride however was never in danger of being upstaged for she was truly breathtaking in a classic vintage dress with full cathedral veil! Emma had given Tom orders not to turn round till she reached him and as she made her way up the aisle on the arm of her Father I caught sight of the tears of happiness in her eyes and understood why. Following a moving ceremony, the happy couple left the church under an Arch of military Swords! This perfect moment was only slightly bettered by the sight of the Red Arrows flying overhead! The warm sunshine and blue skies made the reception venue of Heythrop Park even more special and provided the perfect backdrop for photographs.
It was an honour and a privilege to be your Wedding Photographers Emma and Tom for which we thank you with all our hearts, we wouldn’t have missed it for the world! Priory Photography wish this lovely couple all the very best that married life has to offer them for they truly deserve it!

I love photography! Capturing moments that are important is a great responsibility but one that I enjoy nevertheless! It was therefore an honour to be asked to photograph Andrea and her family following her graduation. Well done Andrea, we wish you all the very best in the future, we are sure that you have a great future career ahead of you!

These are just a small selection of photographs we have taken for Digital Marketing and Media Design Agency ‘inLIFE’. The company based in Burntwood, Staffordshire, commissioned us to photograph their offices and staff. As an innovative company at the forefront of Digital Media, inLife wanted something that reflected their creative and individual style.

When I arrived to undertake Bridal Prep at Alrewas Hayes for Sarah, I was met by a scene of organised happy chaos! You cannot expect less though when you have 6 Bridesmaids who are excited, happy and nervous all at the same time! If Sarah was feeling any butterflies at this point it didnt show. The ceremony was lovely and before we knew it we were outside in the hot sunshine! Though we took the large group photographs on the lawn of Alrewas Hayes, we soon moved everyone into the courtyard where there was more shade. The lakeside was important to both of the Happy Couple as it was where Rob had proposed so we had to photograph them there, it just had to be done! Before moving on to the Wedding Breakfast in the garden of Sarah’s parents, we were able to photograph them in a friend’s classic MG. There may not have been much room for Sarah’s dress but both she and Rob looked very much at home in the gorgeous car! We wish Sarah and Rob, all the happiness in the world as they set out into married life together!!

Natalie and Jon’s wedding was amazing! From the fact that it kept dry all day to how beautiful Natalie looked, the day was perfect! I got very excited when I saw the Vintage Daimler arriving and actually jumped up and down! (note to self – must be more professional and not jump up and down!!). Have a wonderful honeymoon Nat and Jon you deserve it!!! Dxxx.

Big smiles were the order of the day for Tom and Jennie’s wedding at Packington Moor! Even Millie their dog looked as if she were grinning from ear to ear! When it comes to describing Tom’s smile when he saw how breathtaking Jennie looked as she walked down the aisle though – well words fail me. She looked amazing! Following the ceremony, family and friends gathered in the lovely gardens of Packington Moor Farm for photographs and though it was becoming a little fresh at this time of the day no-one really minded. Packington Moor Staff were lovely and couldnt do enough to ensure that the day went smoothly. The only hitch if it can be called that, was when someone (who shall remain nameless) stepped on the Brides dress as she walked down the aisle! Everything was just perfect, a truly lovely day for the happy couple to remember forever. Priory Photography & Design were delighted and honoured to be asked to photograph this very special day for Jennie and Tom and wish them all the happiness in the world as they set out together as Husband and Wife! Dxx

Below are some of the stills we took during the making of the new music video for the Birmingham based group ‘Mistys Big Adventure‘ promoting their new single ‘Aggression’. The video written and directed by local film director Mark Locke (famous for the movie ‘Crust’) was shot on location at various venues around Tamworth, Sutton Coldfield and Atherstone.
The weather may have been cold at Nuthurst Grange, but the love and laughter surrounding Ellen and Lee at their wedding, from family and friends was lovely and warm! Following the most relaxed and laughter filled bridal prep I ever had the pleasure to photograph, Ellen made her way with her Bridesmaids to the little chapel within the grounds. Though no one wanted to be outside for long, their family and friends were cheerful as they waited for photographs and made the whole chilly experience fun! With Christmas trees and lights all round, even Father Christmas couldnt stay away and made a surprise visit to wish the couple well and give out early presents to the good little boys and girls who were there. A magical wedding for a truly lovely couple! Thank you for letting us capture your memories and be a part of your special day, it was a true pleasure!!! Debbie & Mark xxx

A RSM from The 3rd Battalion the Mercian Regiment (The Staffords) making a salute at the end of the parade around Tamworth.

Soldiers from The 3rd Battalion the Mercian Regiment (The Staffords) made a triumphant return to Tamworth today. Troops who have just returned from fighting the Taliban marched through Tamworth and were given a rapturous welcome from Tamworth residents. Below is a montage of photographs taken by us of the parade.

This is one of my favourite photographs from our Tamworth weddings this year. Taken in the Castle Grounds under the Chestnut trees by the river. I just like the way the light is shinning through the leaves.

It’s Danny Foster of Hear’Say fame with Debs. Danny (now of Danny and the Big Soul Corporation) was at a recent wedding that we were photographing.
