These are a few photographs we recently took at the wedding of Emma and Ryan at Somerford Hall, Brewood, Staffordshire.
What a fantastic location for a wedding!
Well it’s Ryan and Emma’s Big Day tomorrow and I can’t wait! If everything stays dry then it will be lovely! The daffodils are finally out and I have some great shots in mind! Sleep well both and see you tomorrow!
We had a great afternoon on Saturday doing a wedding pre-shoot with Kelly and Ross. The couple are getting married at the beautiful St.Chad’s Church at Hopwas, followed by a reception at the new hotel at Drayton Manor theme park. We always meet up with couples about a month before the wedding day to finalise the plans for the big day and of course take a few photographs of them as well.

Had a great wedding preshoot this afternoon with with Kelly and Ross at the new Drayton Manor Hotel. Can’t wait to photograph their wedding because we’ve got some great ideas for some creative shots down on the theme park.

It’s been a really fab weekend! Yesterday we were at the wedding of Benjamin Foster and Sarah Foster, which was magical from beginning to end! A beautiful snowy white day which provided lots of laughter, anxiety, and tears especially when Ben lost his wedding ring in the snow! A moment that will stay with him forever! Alls well that ends well though! — at Brook Marston Farm Hotel.

If rain on your wedding day means good luck then Clare and Paul were wished lots of it! The skies opened and it poured down but we still managed an outdoor ceremony. The blue skies did appear later though and so the lovely grounds of Hogarth’s Hotel made a beautiful setting for their wedding photographs! Priory Photography wish Paul and Clare a very happy life together!

A few wedding photographs of Kyley and Lee at Moxhull Hall. Without a doubt the most chilled out couple we have ever shot at a wedding!

Dont miss this fantastic opportunity! For a limited time only we are offering 10% off ALL our wedding packages, but hurry as you must book before 30th September 2012 to take advantage of this great offer. So dont delay, get in touch with us SOON!!!

When I arrived to undertake Bridal Prep at Alrewas Hayes for Sarah, I was met by a scene of organised happy chaos! You cannot expect less though when you have 6 Bridesmaids who are excited, happy and nervous all at the same time! If Sarah was feeling any butterflies at this point it didnt show. The ceremony was lovely and before we knew it we were outside in the hot sunshine! Though we took the large group photographs on the lawn of Alrewas Hayes, we soon moved everyone into the courtyard where there was more shade. The lakeside was important to both of the Happy Couple as it was where Rob had proposed so we had to photograph them there, it just had to be done! Before moving on to the Wedding Breakfast in the garden of Sarah’s parents, we were able to photograph them in a friend’s classic MG. There may not have been much room for Sarah’s dress but both she and Rob looked very much at home in the gorgeous car! We wish Sarah and Rob, all the happiness in the world as they set out into married life together!!

Coombe Abbey is a beautiful place to get married and so it was for Anne and Nigel! Despite the formal nature of the setting, this was a lovely relaxed wedding with family and friends. Anne looked lovely in her wedding gown and Nigel didnt look bad either! Following their big day, Anne and Nigel were driving down to Venice in their sportscar! We were so jealous but were not surprised as Nigel is a pilot and no one wants a busman’s holiday for their honeymoon! Anne and Nigel, it was an honour and pleasure to be your wedding photographers. We wish you all the very best as you set out together as Husband and Wife!

Natalie and Jon’s wedding was amazing! From the fact that it kept dry all day to how beautiful Natalie looked, the day was perfect! I got very excited when I saw the Vintage Daimler arriving and actually jumped up and down! (note to self – must be more professional and not jump up and down!!). Have a wonderful honeymoon Nat and Jon you deserve it!!! Dxxx.

Big smiles were the order of the day for Tom and Jennie’s wedding at Packington Moor! Even Millie their dog looked as if she were grinning from ear to ear! When it comes to describing Tom’s smile when he saw how breathtaking Jennie looked as she walked down the aisle though – well words fail me. She looked amazing! Following the ceremony, family and friends gathered in the lovely gardens of Packington Moor Farm for photographs and though it was becoming a little fresh at this time of the day no-one really minded. Packington Moor Staff were lovely and couldnt do enough to ensure that the day went smoothly. The only hitch if it can be called that, was when someone (who shall remain nameless) stepped on the Brides dress as she walked down the aisle! Everything was just perfect, a truly lovely day for the happy couple to remember forever. Priory Photography & Design were delighted and honoured to be asked to photograph this very special day for Jennie and Tom and wish them all the happiness in the world as they set out together as Husband and Wife! Dxx

Tamworth came to a standstill on monday night when a multitude of dancing extras descended on Market Street to appear in the latest music video production for the band ‘Misty’s Big Adventure‘.
The video is the brainchild of talented local director Mark Locke, famous for films like ‘Crust’ and numerous music videos for Dinosaur Jr., Athelete, Unkle and the Tokyo Dragons.

When you go to photograph a wedding you expect to see some nervous anticipation from the groom but Simon was calm personified! His wedding to Alison at the Arden Hotel was full of laughter but if there were some butterflies, they were not on show. When Alison entered the room, Simon beamed from ear to ear as did the rest of their family and friends as she looked every inch the beautiful Bride. Simon’s Sister Karren had done a splendid job for them with the flowers as the colourful blooms really were eye-catching. The Arden Hotel, played perfect host to the happy couple and their guests and nothing was too much trouble! When we took them outside for a romantic candlelit shot, it really did feel quite magical! Priory Photography were very proud to be asked to be a part of this lovely couple’s special day and we wish them a long and happy life together as husband and wife!

When Amy and Spencer came to visit us earlier in the year we fully expected their wedding to take place on a brisk, fresh Autumnal day and not during a heatwave in October! Sunday 2nd October 2011 may well be the day that many remember as being hotter than most of our Summer days but for Spencer and Amy it was the day that they were married at the Castle Hotel, Tamworth. Everything about the day was beautiful from our lovely Bride Amy to the smile on Spencer’s face when he saw her as you can see captured in our photograph below. I could write reams about what a wonderful day it was but that photograph says it all and so much more! We would like to wish Spencer and Amy only the very best that life has to offer them as they deserve only the very best!

They say timing is everything and it was definitely true for Lisa and Steve’s Wedding!!! Lisa looked a picture of loveliness as she arrived at All Saints Church, Foley accompanied by her Bridesmaids in beautiful purple. Steve was a little nervous but it was more excitement and anticipation than nerves. After a beautiful wedding ceremony, the Happy Couple made their way in vintage Rolls Royce to the Botanical Gardens in Edgbaston, Birmingham for their Wedding Breakfast and reception. It was hard to say who wore the biggest smile Lisa or Steve but it was certainly infectious as everyone around them wanted to wish them well! The Botanical Gardens were a beautiful setting for their reception and even the sun came out for them. Our aim was to give them time to enjoy their day and share their happiness with their family and friends rather than be overwhelmed by photography. In this we were successful as we achieved all of their desired photographs as well as their creative shots and got them back in time for their Wedding Breakfast. During the Wedding Breakfast the heavens opened and torrential rain came down. How glad was I that we had photographed everything that we needed to outside!! We would like to wish Steve and Lisa a wonderful life together as Husband and Wife and are very proud to have been their Wedding Photographers!

The wedding of Joanne and Gary was a wonderful and rare mix of the old and we were delighted to be their Wedding Photographers. Joanne looked truly beautiful as she and her Father arrived at Aston Villa Football Ground in classic vintage Rolls royce. Though Gary had to wait a little while for her to make her way down the aisle to him, she was well worth waiting for. With the Holte End as a backdrop, the Happy Couple made their vows to each other and became Husband and Wife. As an avid supporter of Aston Villa Football Club, our Groom Gary was delighted that his Bride Joanne was happy to hold their wedding ceremony at the grounds. Both however were more than happy to travel in the September sunshine over to adjacent Aston hall for their wedding photographs with family and friends. Aston Villa played perfect host for the entire day and made a magnificent backdrop to the photographs taken there as our photographs show. The Evening Reception was an extremely enjoyable occasion for all as male and female guests battled to win the competition for best Air Guitar Player amongst other tasks!!! A truly wonderful day for the Bride and Groom, for whom we wish a lifetime of happiness and laughter together!

The lovely village of Sibbertoft in Leicestershire was the setting for the wedding of Lindsay and Roger. After marrying at the beautiful Parish Church of St.Helens, the happy couple were driven in a true vintage La France car back to their home where the reception was held in a marquee in the back garden. The couple were joined not just by their respective families but by friends and neighbours from the village that were aptly referred to for the rest of the day as “the Village People”! Following the musical theme, the guests were treated to the vocal talents of the lovely Singer Vicky Goddard; who was accompanied by her manager Danny Foster of Danny Foster and the Big Soul Corporation (and formerly of Hear’Say fame). A truly magical wedding day that Priory Photography & Design are proud to have been able to capture for the happy Couple. We would like to wish Lindsay and Roger all the happiness in the world as they begin married life together! Photographs to follow shortly in our client area section of the website.

Some photographs from the big day!!
