Sunday, August 22nd, 2010Lea Marston Hotel, Sutton Coldfield, proved they go the extra mile when they played host for the wedding of Taj and Andrew! When the rain came down they didnt just provide umbrellas they opened the nearest doors which just happened to be to the Gym! The sight of a bridal party with dumbells may have been unusual but it all added to the laughter on this very happy day! Wednesday, August 11th, 2010Only a bride with individual style and elegance can carry off so beautiful a creation as a lilac wedding dress and that’s exactly what our bride Jenny did! Nearly as resplendent – but not enough to upstage his bride – our groom John stood tall and handsome in his RAF Uniform and cap. Though not all was military precision when the Groom’s mother went AWOL, initiative and resourcefulness saved the day!! You had to be there to believe what a mobility scooter can do when pressganged into action! After carrying his bride over the threshold of their suite at the Holiday Inn Express, Tamworth, the newlyweds proceeded to their reception at the Glascote Working Mens Club where family and friends toasted their future happiness together! Priory Photography & Design shared a very happy day with the couple capturing their memories and events as they unfolded. We wish the happy couple a very happy life together!!!

Thursday, July 29th, 2010The lovely village of Sibbertoft in Leicestershire was the setting for the wedding of Lindsay and Roger. After marrying at the beautiful Parish Church of St.Helens, the happy couple were driven in a true vintage La France car back to their home where the reception was held in a marquee in the back garden. The couple were joined not just by their respective families but by friends and neighbours from the village that were aptly referred to for the rest of the day as “the Village People”! Following the musical theme, the guests were treated to the vocal talents of the lovely Singer Vicky Goddard; who was accompanied by her manager Danny Foster of Danny Foster and the Big Soul Corporation (and formerly of Hear’Say fame). A truly magical wedding day that Priory Photography & Design are proud to have been able to capture for the happy Couple. We would like to wish Lindsay and Roger all the happiness in the world as they begin married life together! Photographs to follow shortly in our client area section of the website.

Though there were one or two technical hitches it was smiles all day at the Grimstock Country House Hotel, Coleshil and nothing was going to change that! As you can see from these preview photographs Beacon Park Lichfield made a lovely setting for the newly weds first photographs. After tying the Knot they were chauffeur driven to the Tower Suite at Drayton Manor where they were welcomed by family and guests alike! With photographic evidence and witnesses as well, the Best Man gave a revealing account of the Stag Night that made everyone laugh! Monday, April 26th, 2010The Windmill Village Hotel, Coventry on the hottest day of the year so far, played perfect host to the wedding of Craig and Sonya. From the elegance of a vintage Humber for a Wedding Car to the vibrant colours of the spring flowers in bloom – everything was perfection! When Best Man John, teased that he had forgotten the Wedding Rings during the ceremony, it was clear that this was going to be a day for much laughter and happiness and indeed it was! The simple elegance of the Wedding Cake and romantic design of the Wedding Dress reflected the lovely nature of the Bride herself! As Wedding Photographers it was clear to us that both Craig and Sonya were the epitome of happiness as I am sure you will agree from our photographs! Monday, April 12th, 2010Football was definitely in the background at Julie and Noel’s wedding at the Millers Hotel, Sibson, Leicestershire, as witnessed by one of the fabulous Wedding Cakes made especially for the big day. As the sun shone down on the happy couple, it was obvious to all that this was a true love match! If you look at their Wedding Photographs I am sure you will agree – even the Wedding Balloons looked happy! Though the Groom’s football team didn’t fare so well in the FA cup semi finals, nothing could dampen the spirits of this lovely couple! Tuesday, April 6th, 2010Though the weathermen forecast rain, the sky remained clear and cast good omens over the wedding of Wai and Narinder at Birmingham Registry Office last Saturday 3rd April. Resplendent in a gold and scarlet red sari, Narinder made a truly beautiful bride. During a reception held at the Birmingham City Thistle Hotel, she and her bridegroom Wai were wished long life and happiness by his elder Chinese relatives during a traditional Tea Ceremony.
