Mercian Regiment Parade through Tamworth

Soldiers from The 3rd Battalion the Mercian Regiment (The Staffords) made a triumphant return to Tamworth today. Troops who have just returned from fighting the Taliban marched through Tamworth and were given a rapturous welcome from Tamworth residents. Below is a montage of photographs taken by us of the parade.

Sam and Matt

This is one of my favourite photographs from our Tamworth weddings this year. Taken in the Castle Grounds under the Chestnut trees by the river. I just like the way the light is shinning through the leaves. To see more of our work please go to www.priory-photodesign.co.uk

Margaret and Graham

A selection of photographs taken at the wedding of Margaret and Graham at the Manor Hotel, Meriden. To see more of our work please go to www.priory-photodesign.co.uk

Danny and Debs

It’s Danny Foster of Hear’Say fame with Debs. Danny (now of Danny and the Big Soul Corporation) was at a recent wedding that we were photographing.

Tamworth’s Olympic hopefuls for London 2012

Atlas Sports Injury Clinics are a small chain of highly professional clinics (Tamworth, Atherstone, Hall Green) that offer a wide range of Osteopathic/Physiotherapy and specialist sports injury treatments. When we were asked to photograph 2 of our brightest Olympic hopefuls Meghann Beesley and Nathan Woodward for them, we were both honored and eager to get…

Laura and Matts Wedding at Hawksyard Hall, Rugeley

After the heatwave of last week, it was down to earth with a bump and back to normal temperatures when we photographed Matt and Laura’s wedding on Friday! The Autumn colours were beautiful though and made a lovely backdrop to the setting of Hawkesyard Hall as the Wedding Venue. Laura looked amazing as she entered…

Amy and Spencers Wedding at the Castle Hotel, Tamworth

When Amy and Spencer came to visit us earlier in the year we fully expected their wedding to take place on a brisk, fresh Autumnal day and not during a heatwave in October! Sunday 2nd October 2011 may well be the day that many remember as being hotter than most of our Summer days but…

Sam and Matt

Weddings are always a wonderful occasion and although stressful they are always worth the stress and time put into them. This was especially so for Matt and Sam when they married at Tamworth Registry Office. After arriving in a limousine with her Bridesmaids and Pageboys, Sam never looked lovelier. Matt knew he was a lucky…

Lisa and Steve

They say timing is everything and it was definitely true for Lisa and Steve’s Wedding!!! Lisa looked a picture of loveliness as she arrived at All Saints Church, Foley accompanied by her Bridesmaids in beautiful purple. Steve was a little nervous but it was more excitement and anticipation than nerves. After a beautiful wedding ceremony,…

Lindsay and Lee

Simply lovely! It summed up the wedding day of Lindsay and Lee perfectly! There are always some nerves at weddings but by the time Lindsay arrived with her Bridesmaids at St Wilfrid’s Church, Bromford, it was perhaps more excitement and anticipation! Father George soon put everyone at ease though and with the support of Father…

Tania and Dan

Dan himself used the word in his speech to sum up his wedding day “perfect”! Indeed the wedding of Dan and Tania at Lincoln Cathedral couldn’t be described in any other way. Both the bride Tania and the groom Dan were both quite relaxed when we saw them for Bride prep and Groom prep shots…

Tara and Paul

How can I sum up in one word the wedding of Paul and Tara? I will use the word that was said to us at the end of the night – “awesome”! Actually one word doesnt do it justice as the day encompassed a wide range of emotions. When Paul arrived at St George’s church,…

Nicola and Mark

Branston Golf and Country Club played perfect host to the wedding of Nicola and Mark on 17th June, as surrounded by family and friends the happy couple tied the knot! Rain is meant to be lucky on your wedding day and so the showers didnt concern anyone. Our couple had great fun on the golf…

Kelly and Steve

July 2nd 2011 will be the day that Kelly and Steve remember as their wedding day but will be a day that Priory Photography & Design remember for a lovely couple, fantastic music, laughs aplenty and fun with a capital F! Following a lovely wedding ceremony at Tamworth Castle, Kelly and Steve celebrated their wedding…

Joanne and Matthew

Following a beautiful service at St Mary’s Church, Newton Regis, Joanne and Matthew made their way in style in a vintage 1933 Classic Rolls Royce to Drayton Manor for their reception. As the weather was warm it was lovely to accompany them on a golf buggy through the park to the Carousel where they had…

Becky and Dave

Lea Marston was the setting for the wedding of Becky and Dave on Friday 27th May! This was a lovely relaxed wedding where everyone enjoyed themselves. Instead of a formal wedding breakfast, a mouthwatering array of sandwiches and cakes were served for high tea which went down very well! It was the children though who…

Jackie and Ben at the Queens Hotel, Chester

After a beautiful Wedding Ceremony at Christ the King’s Church, Bromborough on the Wirral, Jackie and Ben celebrated their wedding at the Queen Hotel, Chester.  Though a Coronation Street celebrity (Craig Gazey aka “Graeme Proctor”) was also present at the Hotel, the Happy Couple only had eyes for each other!  The Queen Hotel has played…
